Thinking On My Feet...

I'm so excited right now and can barely contain it!! I have been struggling with figuring out how to get off of my current lease and have myself legally free of any implications. My current roommate said that she was willing to take over the lease and all payments, but I wanted to make sure that I was free and clear of any responsibility before I sign my new lease. Well, the landlords just came over to give my roommate the new lease. They had the old one with them that stated that I and my roommate were responsible until July 31st of this year. I asked them to write a note on it that stated, "Macey Snelson moved out of the apartment on April 1st 2009 and is no longer responsible for this lease as of today: March 29th 2009". And they both signed and dated the note along with me! Now if anything happens, it shows that I am not responsible for anything having to do with the lease from this day forward.

I can now be excited about moving!!!!!

The Time is Near...

The time is getting so close for me to move! I am so excited, and can't wait to post pictures of my new place :)
This summer is going to be awesome! I'm going to be working my butt off with two jobs, but in my free time I'm going to be so close to all the great things Boise has to offer. I'm within walking distance to the farmer's market, right across the street from the Co-op, and stumbling distance to all the bars in downtown :)
I can't wait!

Eyes Upon God.

"What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry."

I decided this morning that I am going to make an effort to cut the negativity from my system. I don't know when I started to get so negative, but it has become an awful habit and I seem to start spouting negativity before I even realize it; oftentimes completely unnecessarily. God has blessed my life in so many ways, and I am choosing to focus on the wrong things. But no more!

Here is the start to my positive look on life. The many wonderful things happening right now:

~My own apartment!
~An apartment in downtown Boise!
~A full time job WITH benefits!
~An offer for a part time job during the summer to make extra cash!
~The opportunity to work for the Boys & Girls Club again!
~Extra income from photography and house sitting jobs!
~I get to see my niece in 2 weeks and experience her first Easter!
~ I get to spend time with my brother, sister, and cousin in sunny Califonia!
~The support of friends and family!
~Spring weather!

There are many, many more blessings, but these are the biggies!

"If you put an end to oppression, to every gesture of contempt, and to every evil word; if you give food to the hungry and satisfy those who are in need, then the darkness around you will turn to the brightness of noon. And I will always guide you and satisfy you with good things. I will keep you strong and well."

I'm moving!

I am moving to downtown Boise and I am so excited! I have been wanting to live on my own for awhile now, and finally the perfect opportunity has come along. I will be moving in April, and those of you in Boise area will definitely have to stop and visit. I'm always up for company! (although I did blur out my new address on here for those unwanted eyes that view this page)
My "change of address" cards were designed in Illustrator, and inspired by 45wall Design's Baby Shower Invites seen here.

Help Support the Boys & Girls Clubs!

The Club can only help kids if they can keep their doors open. In this down-turned economy, there is no time more important than now to have the Club open. For only $10.00 a year a child can be a member of the Boys & Girls Club, and be off the streets and in a safe place while mom and dad are working hard to support the family.
By donating to the cause, you and I can provide scholarships for children to be Club members, and have a safe, positive, and fun place to be themselves, and just be kids.

I have pledged to raise $100 for the cause Support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County. Please help me and donate $100. To donate, follow the link below:
